Breakouts
We sell breakout solutions for many high-density connectors. We can do custom solutions for just about any commercially available connector.
We also offer standard breakout selections for widely used cryostats, such as Quantum Design's PPMS. Our standard configuration is rack-mount, with integrated cable. (This has noise benefits at low frequency.)
We offer "advanced" breakout solutions as well, with custom filtering, switchable grounding, etc.

Cables
Low-noise coaxial cables
BNC patch cables are the most used (and most abused) piece of equipment in your laboratory. Every one of your sensitive measurements relies on one.
We sell low-noise coaxial cables that are superior to the standard "RG-58" BNC patch cables found in almost every lab.
Replacing all of your old cables with our custom assemblies is a simple, surprisingly low-cost, and nearly zero effort step that you can take to improve the quality and reliability of your electrical measurements.
We sell two main types: the first is designed as a drop-in replacement for an RG-58 cable, designed with superior shield coverage for lower noise sensitivity, and the second
is designed to minimize triboelectric noise at low frequencies. We will sell you any length you desire, terminated in high-quality crimped connections for complete, 360-degree shield coverage at the connector.
All cables ship with bend relief standard, with several colors available on request.
We offer volume discounts starting at orders of ten cable assemblies.

Bakeable cables for molecular beam epitaxy
We offer bakeable (200 C) cable assemblies, with the intended use case of providing power and thermometry connections to effusion cells used in molecular beam epitaxy.
Compared to larger, brand-name manufacturers, we offer competitively priced assemblies, constructed reliably using avionic-style crimp connections to provide long-lasting cell power.
It is likely that our cables will outlive your effusion cell, rather than contribute to its untimely demise.
We also offer competitively priced adapters between the 4-pin Amphenol connectors found on dual filament cells to dual 2-pin Amphenol connectors, as well as 4-conductor, dual-thermocouple cables.
For these 4-pin style connectors, we also sell 4-wire, double-thermocouple cables, which minimize the number of "danglers" around your growth chamber.
If your cables are constructed using high-temperature solder (or worse — low temperature solder!), consider replacing them with our reliable assemblies — you may end up saving yourself the cost of a crucible, or, unluckily, a cell.
Please contact us for pricing and availability on these cable assemblies. As we make all of our standard offerings in-house, we may surprise you with the relatively low cost of our custom solutions as well.

Cryostat inserts
For PPMS
We offer two main cryostat inserts ("probes") for the PPMS Dynacool. (Neither of these is licensed, sanctioned, or endorsed by Quantum Design.)
The first is designed to bring in more wires to the cryostat. Many lithographically defined devices have many leads.
For high throughput experimentation, as well as for sensitive samples, minimizing sample cooldowns is critical.
We sell our probe
a la carte, or as part of a turnkey solution, with chip carriers, a wirebonding platform, breakouts for room temperature and low temperature, and software integration.
The second probe is designed for shielded precision capacitance measurements.
As above, we sell our probe
a la carte, or as part of a turnkey solution, with chip carriers, a wirebonding platform, breakouts for room temperature and low temperature, measurement electronics, and software integration.
For flow cryostats
We can also offer these probes modified for use in a flow cryostat.
Cryostat wiring
We stock some commonly-used cryostat wires that we can assemble into a robust ribbon cable for use down to mK temperatures.
We also sell short lengths for repairs or if you cannot wait on the typical supplier lead times and minimum quantities.
Software
We license custom software for automating experiments in cryostats, for automating furnaces, or for automating MBE growth.
These tend to be somewhat bespoke solutions depending on the user's requirements. We design in flexibility for expansion, and your software license covers upgrades and support as well.
Pricing is competitive with equivalent proprietary software licenses (e.g. MATLAB, LabVIEW).
